Melissa Frost

Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner Frost is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse with 20 years of experience. She attended Loma Linda University for her undergraduate degree and completed her Masters at University of California Los Angeles. She has worked in residential addiction medicine as well as with clients with intellectual disabilities in group homes and the elderly in nursing home facilities for over 10 years. She has been a featured speaker for numerous pharmaceutical companies and has presented at multiple conferences.

NP Frost has been in private practice for 18 years. She is a member of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners. NP Frost loves to provide holistic options for her clients with regard to nutrition and lifestyle and is an enthusiastic advocate for healthy brain function.

I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I received my bachelor’s degree from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada and my Master’s degree from Loma Linda University. I then completed my post-masters in psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Western University for Health Science. My training includes treating individuals with a variety of psychiatric disorders such as bipolar, ADHD, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, treatment resistant depression and eating disorders in an outpatient setting. I believe that care should be personalized to meet client needs and comprehensive utilizing an interdisciplinary approach. Evidence based research is essential in my treatment plan. I approach each interaction with warmth, trust and empathy in order to build a therapeutic relationship. I combine medication management and psychotherapy to help clients achieve joy and fulfilment in life. I am a firm believer of treating the whole person through diet, exercise, meditation, mindfulness and nutritional supplements for optimal well-being. I also advocate for comprehensive care and ensure that patients are involved and informed regarding their health.

Vanessa Judicpa Toves

Office Manager

Vanessa earned her bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California. She established herself in both the medical and political communities, as well as displaying her public speaking abilities through multiple venues and representing the Governor of Guam Eddie B. Calvo, the highest executive in the local island government.

Her diverse work and educational experiences were all in addition to her other endeavors such as being a published poet. Her poems are featured in The Dewdrop and the Cloud Women’s Quarterly Journal.

As the liaison between the provider and client, Vanessa believes communication plays a vital role in providing the best client experience.
